MONDAY NIGHT/TUESDAY MORNING
I dropped my bike outside
and crawled in through your window
silently and softly
so your parents would never know.
We were picking up where we left off
eight months ago.
So I was barely surprised
when I found myself under your covers
looking in your eyes
and your skin was warm with lust
pressing against mine
and my hands were trembling,
closing around your thighs,
and I felt so high…
I’d left the window open
I really didn’t care.
I smelled the dawn approaching
slowly in the air
combined with the familiar fragrance
exuding from your body.
I could hear nothing but our breath in synchronicity,
nothing but the high-pitched hum of your TV
and the gentle sounds of the world waking outside
when I crawled back out your window,
kissed you goodbye,
and then rode off into the navy blue,
sprinkled with the cold morning dew,
thinking only about you.
